Dimitris D. Papadopoulos, Dimitris D. Papadopoulos prior to joining Oxygen Capital was the chief financial officer of FreeSeas Inc., a NASDAQ shipping company. Mr. Papadopoulos started his career with Citigroup in New York from 1968 to 1970, in the European credit division, and was later posted in Athens from 1970 to 1975, where he left as general manager of corporate finance to join Archirodon Group Inc., parent of several contracting companies engaged in both the public and private sectors, with special expertise in harbor and marine works. There he served as financial and administration vice president from 1975 to 1991, which included the financial supervision of the Group's shipping division, the Konkar Group. He served as chairman and chief executive officer of the group's U.S. arm, Delphinance Development Corp. from 1984 to 1991 engaged in the development of industrial, residential and commercial -hotel and office- properties in the U.S.A. In addition to its real estate development Delphinance also engaged in oil and gas development and venture capital investments. In 1991, he assumed the position of managing director of Dorian Bank, a full-charter commercial and investment bank in Greece, where he served until 1996. From 1996 until 1998 and from 2000 until 2004, he was a freelance business consultant involved in several corporate and investment restructures. From 1998 to 1999, he served as managing director of Porto Carras S.A., a touristic resort and winery in Northern Greece. Later, as executive vice president of the Hellenic Investment Bank, from 1999 to 2000, he was responsible for developing the bank's new banking charter formation, obtaining charter approval, organizing, staffing and commencing banking operations. Beginning in 2004, Mr. Papadopoulos served as president of Waterfront Developments S.A. As a Fullbright grantee, Mr. Papadopoulos studied economics at Austin College, Texas (B.A. and "Who's Who amongst Students in American Colleges and Universities" - 1968) and did graduate studies at the University of Delaware. In 1974, he received an executive business diploma from Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.
Yannis C. Tsakiris, Before joining Oxygen Capital, Yannis Tsakiris was the Deputy General Manager and Head of Private Banking at EFG Private Bank Luxembourg. Prior to joining the EFG Eurobank Group, he worked with Bank of Piraeus as the Head of Private Banking and previously with other financial institutions internationally including American Express Private Bank, Citibank Private Bank, Onassis Group in Monte Carlo and IBM. Mr. Tsakiris received his BSc (Hons) Economics from the University of Wales, his MSc Operational Research from London School of Economics, University of London and his PhD Management Science from University of Wales. He is fluent in Greek, English and French.
Spyros Trachanis, Mr. Trachanis has 14 years of professional experience including over 8 years of experience in private equity early stage and development capital investments. He has reviewed investment opportunities throughout Europe with an emphasis on Greece and Southeastern Europe. Prior to joining Oxygen, he was an Investment Director with NBGI Private Equity Ltd and a co-founder of NBG Technology LP, NBGI’s early-stage venture capital investment fund. Prior to that, Mr. Trachanis worked as an Investment Manager with Global Finance in Athens where he was reviewing primarily Telecom, Media and Technology investment opportunities. Mr Trachanis has served as a director of several venture backed companies and on the Investment Committees of Turkven, an Istanbul based private equity firm investing in Turkey. Previously, he worked as a telecommunications consultant in the period of European Telco liberalization. Mr. Trachanis holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Patras and an MBA from Insead.
Alexandros Panagiotopoulos, Before joining Oxygen Capital Alexandros Panagiotopoulos has been the investment supervisor of European reliance mutual funds for 6 years, from 2001 to 2007. Before that he worked as a part of the investment team of EFG Eurobank Ergasias mutual funds for 2 years. He received his Masters degree in Finance and Investment from Brunel University in 1997. He is fluent in English and also speaks German, French and Spanish.
Lambros Liaskovitis, Prior to joining Oxygen Capital, Lambros Liaskovitis was a Client Relationship Officer at EFG Private Bank Luxembourg. Prior to joining EFG Private Bank Luxembourg, Lambros worked with EFG Eurobank Private Banking, Family Office. Lambros received his BA (Hons) Business Economics from Sunderland Business School, University of Sunderland, and graduated from the Hellenic American Educational Foundation (Athens College), in Athens, Greece. He is fluent in Greek, English and French.
Liza Katsouraki, Before joining Oxygen Capital Lisa Katsouraki was working in advertising in the account management department, at BBDO Athens from 2003 to 2006. She holds a BSc in Economics from LSE (2003) and is a recent INSEAD MBA graduate (2007). She is fluent in Greek and English and also speaks French. |
